Wooden Hungarian Tables

Circa 1900. These tables were built by a shepherd. The table is constructed of wood plants with three stick legs, the builder used three legs as it was the easiest way to stable the table on uneven ground (in a field). The table was portable and used by a traveling shepherd to eat/cut meat.

This farmhouse dining or kitchen table has European country charm thanks to the unique X-stretcher base.
The natural pine has been distressed through generations of use, adding depth to the character of the table. The many scratches, dings, cracks, stains and age related separation of the planks simply add to the authentic vintage appeal.
This farm table has been restored so it is strong, stable and ready for use.
